This is a great well constructed Gazebo, highly recommend. It took day to build it was a 3 person job. If I break it down in hours 10 hours and that was 6 hours day one 2 hours the second day. The package arrive in great condition, had 4 boxes all parts were there along with extra hardware. Every step followed, no problem with installing it. After it was all put together it was a beautiful sight to see. My family and I will enjoy at our campground of 2 lots. Hope this is useful, check your parts to assure they are all there before starting. I wasn't difficult to build.. Hector. IN. Thu Aug 20 2026

This outdoor gazebo will give you a place to not only shelter from the sun and rain, but also a private space where you can spend quality time with family and friends.

Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good. The worst thing is that the quality is bad, and it falls apart. Then, I have a pile of scrap metal in my backyard. So far, very pleased.. Dr. Frank Heresco. Corvallis, Oregon. Wed May 20 2026

Perfect for an outdoor barbecue, meeting guests, or daily relaxation. Double hardtop with a sloping roof design avoids the accumulation of snow, rain, and fallen leaves which is convenient for cleaning.

This gazebo is nice once completed. We were stuck at the beginning with the 4 roof corner poles. The entire screw and holder for the screws came out of the poles. Wayfair sent new replacements at no cost and fast. The 4 stars are due to manufactured parts and non written instructions.. Juanita. Maylene, AL. Sun Aug 30 2026

This is a great product bought it for my outdoor patio. But it got damaged from the strong winds. But I should have secured it better than what I did so it was my own fault. But still a great product. Thanks Wayfair.. Michael. PA. Thu Aug 27 2026

We ordered the 14x28 Purpleleaf Gazebo. We were looking for an easy maintenance option as our prior one (much smaller) was cedar and always needed cleaned and re-stained. We are extremely happy with the quality and look of this gazebo. It is massive but exactly what we wanted- an outdoor living space protected from the elements! The instructions could use a lot of work. It doesn’t appear they actually built it themselves when writing them. They needed more actual written instructions and not just pictures. My husband is very handy so of course figured it all out but it took us both looking over the steps multiple times to be sure we were installing the correct pieces in the correct way. It is critical that you have a tall ladder- we have a little giant ladder and it was perfect. You also need a 2nd person on hand (that was me) as some things just can’t be done alone. We even had to use a ladder as a deadman because we needed a 3rd person when putting up the frame. outside frame.. Nicole. Hilliard, OH. Sun Jul 26 2026

This gazebo looks so nice! It seems sturdy and like it will stand up to the weather well. It took FOREVER to assemble, and at times it definitely needed two adults to put together. I recommend having at least two people on task to get it done. Ours arrived with some damage to the main support poles/legs. It was able to be assembled just fine so the damage is cosmetic only. I am waiting on Wayfair's response to the damage report so I can't speak yet to how satisfied I am with that resolution.. Katie. Vincennes, IN. Thu Sep 03 2026

Took two guys 4.5 hours to put together but totally worth it! The only thing I don't like is that the louver handles on the outside of the pergola, so if you have the screens and curtains drawn, it's difficult to open/close.. Monique. Phoenix, AZ. Wed Sep 16 2026

It fits perfectly in the area I needed it. I've had it for a few years now, the quality is good and I haven't had any issues with it so far. It has held up through winters and tornado weather. We don't have it anchored down in any way.. Brittany. Hortonville, WI. Tue Sep 01 2026

I never write anything. BUT, I have to on this one.... I purchase many items that need to be put together and (this is my second gazebo purchase) I must say this Purpleleaf Gazebo exceeded all my expectations. Everything was lettered and numbered. The directions were easy to read. Screws and hardware were labeled. Honestly, I don't think i have had so much success in putting together a large project like this before. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Steps 1 you can do with one person. Step 2 you need 2 people helping you. Step 3 get 3-4 people helping with the roof. Suggesting...screw as you go or they can slip off. This product was great. This review is only based on the gazebo and not the company that took 5 weeks to sent me replacement parts. Lots of pieces and time in this but it was worth it. its nice that you can open the louvers to let sun in when you want it. Pieces are sturdy, assembly was long, especially with a five week break in between, but it is a nice gazebo.. Amy. Keedysville, MD. Mon Jun 15 2026
