This is a great mattress for the price! It arrived wrapped really tightly and unfurled quite quickly. So I suggest placing it on the bed framebox spring before unwrapping. This king-size mattress (medium firm) in a box was a good choice! The top material is a nice grey color, with a honeycomb padding which is a nice change from the old fashion white mattresses. Once fully expanded out of the box it puffed up almost completely, however I let it sit for 24 hours as instructed prior to sleeping on it. The upper layer of pillow top has a cooling feature which actually is exactly as described! I discovered this feature the first night sleeping on it. It's a very thick bed which lends to its comfortability factor. My little kiddo and my cats love sleeping with me in this bed, and it's held up very well. This mattress is awesome, not only is it so comfortable but has a cooling Hybrid gel topper part that supports your shoulders and helps with back pain. My doctor told me to get rid of my too soft mattress and to get a good support one and this is perfect. Mine is a full size and the mattress is 12” deep. When you open the mattress it slowly starts to hiss as it starts to unfold and when it is fully unwrapped it pops to its full size. It suggest to wait a full 72 hours to sleep on it for it to be at it’s best fullness and I did that.
