16 Inch Dining Chair

Inspired by Hans Wegner’s classic 1957 design, our chair is a study in organic fluidity and light. Sculpted with clean lines, it embodies the natural warmth, elegance, and ergonomic focus of midcentury modernism. Crafted of solid North American Red Oak, the chair reveals the wood’s pronounced open grain and deep, organic texture. The iconic curved backrest floats atop tapered legs, while the streamlined, planar seat anchors the silhouette with geometric simplicity.

Love this chair! It feels supportive, the material is soft, and the look of the fabric is dynamic. My only critique is the visible screws on the back of the chair. Since the legs are designed to come up high and be decorative, a cover for these would have improved the look a lot.. Ali. US. Tue May 12 2026

Plus, the solid wood feet deliver reliable support across a range of floor types.

I absolutely love these chairs. They are just what I wanted. Comfortable, beautiful, contemporary, elegant, soft, and sturdy. The legs are ashy in color. Works ok with our antique oak table since the chairs are more about the fabric than the legs. Fabric is more cream than beige. Definitely not a pink-caste, which I'm grateful for. I was concerned about the chair-height measurement online, because it's so much higher than my previous, traditional dining chairs. I studied the photos and the reviews and took the chance that they would be the correct height for a dining table. The online measurements are accurate, but because of the springs and cushioning in the seat, it compresses while seated. The chairs are the perfect height for a dining table. Nothing has spilled on them yet, but I did Scotch-gard them just in case. Assembly took time, and was somewhat tedious, but hoping that translates to a product that will endure the test of time. 2-day delivery was free! Very happy with this purchase!. Carol. Fairport, NY. These chairs are 1010 for (1) comfort, (2) style and (3) color. They have a soft fabric, and the seat itself is firm but still really comfortable. You dont sink in. The back of the chair goes high up so you can lean back comfortably. The color is perfectly neutral and does not show dirty kid hands stains messing them up. The wood tone is great.
