This rustic terra cotta pot is given its unique character by using a centuries old, handmade process using canvas lined molds and traditionally fired kilns then rubbed by hand with dried moss and let to sit outdoors to naturally age which gives it a one-of-a-kind natural patina. Each piece is distressed using old clay to add texture and individually handled so natural ware such as gentle chips and variation in color are to be expected and embraced. This Terra Cotta Oval Pot does not have a drainage hole.

I love the look of this pot so much I use it as a little tool pot for various decor with other curated collections because it’s got such a great look!!! As far a plant pot there is no drainage hole … I would just throw some pebbles in the bottom if I ever get a plant in it it was a little smaller than expected, even after I saw the measurements. But I may just get another one for a plant!. Jo. Santa Cruz, CA. Sat Apr 25 2026

This part is a challenge to review. It’s a good looking part, great proportions, and color. However, it is a decorative item only, not really functional for planting and growing. There is no drainage hole in the bottom and is very fragile, not akin to terra-cotta, which it seeks to emulate. It’s a decorative item, not a functional plant growing pot. There are what looks like intentional flaws in the pot to emulate real terra-cotta… Not sure it actually works, but that’s a personal opinion. I have struggled with whether I should keep it or not due to these limitations. It is a very nice looking piece so I am leaving towards keeping it. One thing that is very clear though is it is completely not worth the price that is being asked for it ……way overpriced for what it is.. Theresa. Ranchos De Taos, NM. Mon Jul 13 2026
