The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some of the edges are a bit rough and will need a little sanding before installation. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the purchase.. This ceiling medallion added an element of historic design to my renovation. Note that the bluish areas in the photo are actually cut out, and when installed, your ceiling will show through in those spots. Center area around the opening is thicker than the edges. I changed out the light plate cover to a deeper profile. Applied easily with construction adhesive and temporarily held in place with tape till the adhesion dried. So lightweight, that you can alter the opening with an Xacto knife.. Keenkathy. Arizona. Mon Jun 22 2015
