Item arrived with very little damage, likeroof panels corners were bent, the inventory was correct as we counted everything and noticed a surplus was provided for some screws and other things. The only reason i did not give a 5 star is the instructions were only pictures for the most part abd at some events we had to go back and undo some tasks before proceeding. There were only two of us and it took 20 hours in two days. The tools provided were an Allen wrench and another tool to hold the bolts. We ordered the 14x28 Purpleleaf Gazebo. We were looking for an easy maintenance option as our prior one (much smaller) was cedar and always needed cleaned and re-stained. We are extremely happy with the quality and look of this gazebo. It is massive but exactly what we wanted- an outdoor living space protected from the elements! The instructions could use a lot of work. It doesn’t appear they actually built it themselves when writing them. They needed more actual written instructions and not just pictures. My husband is very handy so of course figured it all out but it took us both looking over the steps multiple times to be sure we were installing the correct pieces in the correct way. It is critical that you have a tall ladder- we have a little giant ladder and it was perfect. You also need a 2nd person on hand (that was me) as some things just can’t be done alone. We initially thought we could assemble this Gazebo on our own, but quickly realized we desperately needed to hire professional assemblers. The investment in the assemblers was a wise choice. When I saw how the "Pros" struggled to assemble the wall and door panels, they reaffirmed our decision to get help. Our Gazebo is fully assembled and wonderful. Love gazebo. The instructions are confusing. It’s not easy to put on the upper sections. The upper areas are very difficult to reach if not on mounting on the ground. Great value for the price. I installed it on my Sorara Mirador Pergola, and it worked well. I’d need is raising the underside height from 89” to 94”. Some of the louvers arrived with minor factory paint scratches. I reached out to Mirador for touch-up paint, but they don’t offer any.
