This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

10x20 pergola..comes in 4 boxes and ecah box 177lbs. Use doly to pit in back yard..opem the 1st and 2nd boxes...start with those make the base then open boxes 3 and 4 and put plastic end caps on metal ceiling shutters. Make sure you are putting them the correct way or else you will work twice. They should all face the same way and side just like the 1st and 2nd ones thst are controlled with the arm. Level your pergola and tape around the base foot, before you add the ceiling panels. Looks at alot of videos and put some moving blankets on floor to put panels on. You need 3 people minimum to lift the base together to insert the sides together. Seems sturdy and opens and closes nicely...looks great...adds shade and character to the yard.. Francisca. US. Received my 16ft awning and installed today. Looks like excellent quality and everything worked as expected. No adjustments were necessary. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. Crafted from powder-coated aluminum, it ensures durability against corrosion, rust, and extreme weather. Enjoy personalized sunlight, efficient drainage, and lasting elegance in your backyard.

Great pergola and easy assembly, but with a couple of issues We really like this pergola, and the whole family is thoroughly enjoying the shade it provides on our deck. It was quite easy to assemble (we only needed two people for the posts and main beams) and I was able to do the rest by myself. However, there are a couple of things worth pointing out. As shown in the photos, some of the holes on the beams were not pre-drilled, which made installation a bit more difficult. Additionally, the hook used to move the louvers arrived with rust spots and a poor finish, which is disappointing for a brand-new item. Due to a lack of time, I wasn't able to contact customer service to make a claim. Overall, it's a good product, but quality control could definitely be better.. Victor . Utah. Sat Jul 25 2026

This awning is the first choice of most homeowners who choose a manually-operated model because for just low cost it extends out from your house giving you up more square feet of coverage and protection This model requires no electricity.

Pros Great product for the price! It has held up very well in the CA sun over the past few months. Cons It stains easily and it was so terrible to put together (terrible instructions, lots of pieces). If I had to do it again, would have three people to hang it.. Jeannie. Los Angeles, CA. I have nothing negative to say about this except that it is a foot shorter than most of the other pergola I was looking at. Its fine because none of us are 7 feet tall but the other ones are all around 8 feet tall like a ceiling. This ones only 7 feet tall. Other than that its very sturdy. My husband and I actually put it together by ourselves and we use the boys, our teenage sons, a couple times to help lift it and move it I would say overall it was pretty easy to put together just ted.
