VERSATILE LAMP FOR ANY SITUATION BRIGHT MAGNIFYING GLASS WITH LIGHT FOR VISION ASSISTANCE: This sight aide helps you see small details (e.g. crafts or professional tasks) or aids aging eyes and/or macular degeneration (e.g. read pill bottles & fine print). This lamp boasts the largest authentic diopter glass magnifier lens available with a 15-inch+ focal range. Magnification strength: Up to 225%. MAGNIFY HANDS-FREE - PERFECT FOR HOBBIES & PRO USERS: No need to hold the lens as you work (or wear jeweler's glasses or other awkward workarounds). Position the magnifier with its adjustable gooseneck exactly where you need it. The solid metal base firmly anchors your lamp so that it will not tip over. Bending it low, the light can be stretched over a bed for nighttime reading. The height of this lamp can be modified up to 44” and the head swivels top to bottom. FUNCTIONAL AND LONG-LASTING LED LAMP BOUGHT BY PROS & CRAFTERS: The Lightview Pro's reviews show it is used BY PROS: eyelash extensions, facials, makeup, and other esthetician/beautician tasks, tattoo artists, electronic design. BY HOBBYISTS: reading books & newspapers, sewing, cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting, beadwork, jewelry design, woodworking, repair of small electronics and soldering, painting, drawing, puzzles, and more. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: The lens of the Lightview Floor Lamp is around 6.5 inches long x 4 inches wide. The lamp's gooseneck measures 17 inches long; combined with the height-adjustable pole and you get a height range from 24 to 44 inches. You can choose the specific height that works for your exact needs. The head's total outward reach is 27 inches. The base, measuring 10" by 9" by 1", is heavily weighted to provide a counterweight to the lamp's head and neck and keep it steady. LED LIGHT SOURCE: This lamp includes a built-in power-saving LED fixture that stays cool, even after lighting your space for hours. It has 9 watts, 870 Lumens, and a color temperature of a clear, crisp 6,000 Kelvin. Because it's LED and uses far less power than incandescent or halogen bulbs, it increases the lamp's life expectancy to 15-20 years, so you'll never have the replace the bulb. (Please NOTE: The bulb is not dimmable and cannot be dimmed externally at this time.) The built-in magnifying lens is a 3 diopter glass lens that magnifies 225% or 2.25x the original item. ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION: The Lightview is really simple to put together. It comes with only four pieces, and also includes a simple instruction diagram to show how the parts fit together. Any necessary tools are provided in the package. The On/Off switch is conveniently located at the top of the gooseneck, near the lens. The lamp is plugin operated (5-foot long cord included!) and works only with 110v outlets but is safe to use in 220v outlets with a 220v-110v voltage converter. The lamp can be controlled using a wall switch, though it unfortunately is not currently compatible with Alexa.

You can simply adjust the 2-setting dimness by tapping the sensing arrows at the top of the lamp head. In addition to the luminous light source, the lamp also includes a 5-diopter glass lens that provides up to 225 percent times magnification, giving you the optimal vision for detailed projects. The minimalistic lamp has a maximum outward reach of 29 inches long and a modifiable height of up to 47 inches tall with the sturdy weighted base measuring 6 inches long by 11 inches wide.

This lamp is of much higher quality than most. The base is heavy and with a metal extension on the base, it is not tipsy. It is easy to assemble but might be heavy for some to move. Indeed, Brightech needs to invest in better packaging. The outer box and inner box were undamaged, but the styrofoam inside was crumbled by the weight of the components inside. I needed this for stitch work, but find it does not rotate to a horizontal position over my project. As you can see from the picture I will have to look thru the lens and hold my stitch work up to the light. That is not ideal. Someone needs to add a rotating feature to this light to make it perfect for crafters. Otherwise I am impressed by this light and hope it continues to work!. Anonymous. Austin, TX. Fri Nov 15 2024
