These are nice, big bookcases. They fit on either side of the entertainment center and make it look more like a wall unit than it just the center piece alone. There's plenty of storage space inside the cabinets and on the shelves. There are no shelves inside the cabinets, which make it good for storing tall items inside them. We're still not sure about the bridge that goes across the top. The bookcases look good without it, and the top of the bridge isn't flat - there are wood slats up there.
