This clothes closet is what I needed in my clothes room - I initially had my clothes on clothes racks, but these closets just gave my closet room the look I was looking for - didn't want to put all 4 together, so I put 3 on one wall and 1 on the opposite wall - took about 6 hours to put together, don't sleep on this item - LOVE IT!. I was very hesitant to purchase this. For me, this is an expensive item. But I have to say right up front - it was worth it! First things first, you may need the jaws of life to open the packaging. It was that well packed. I’ve literally never seen flat packed furniture so well packed in my life. So there shouldn’t be any worry about it arriving damaged. Second, they said “solid wood” and they meant it. There’s not one piece of mdf in this thing. Literally the only thing I could complain about is the choice of pulls. I don’t like them. But that’s just my taste. There is nothing wrong with them. And they are so easy to replace. At the end of the day, would I buy this again? Yes. Without hesitation. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had. loved the final assembly piece but I believe the predrilled holes for the adjustable bars could have been place further back closer to the wall. seems the way they are it leaves a lot of free space behind the clothes hung. my system was large and required two men to work on it. the younger of the two men -Phillip_ was constantly boasting about himself but come down to working his partner is by far much more thorough. Phil left earlier than his partner Ed who ended up correcting much of what Phil left undone.. I am disappointed in Angi as these guys are mostly present to give you their card for any future jobs we may have at "at a cheaper rate than Angi". Really impressed with how easy it was to put together. I did have to have the shelves cut down to fit my closet, but I knew that going into purchasing and I also cut down one of the metal rods as well because the far side is short shorter (by my design).
