I needed this carport to use as an outdoor workspace for upcoming renovations. Its the next best thing to a garage. I do recommend installing the roof canopy after the roof frame has been assembled. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. We are experiencing 30+deg weather so we have been working slowly on it. It seems to be well built and the directions are easy to follow. This car port looks great and functions great. We got the larger size and it fits my husband’s truck perfectly. I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I.
