Easy to put together if you follow the directions, but there are A LOT of parts. Great storage and space for our bearded dragon. I only gave 4 stars because there's no protection on the plastic pieces (that serve as the "glass") and they scratch immediately. Our bearded dragon glass surfed the first time she was put in and it immediately messed up the clear sections.. Michelle. TX. Sun Sep 20 2026

Glass terrariums are the preferred choice for professional herpetologists. They provide clear front viewing, withstand damp and humid conditions, and are hygienic and easy to clean. Glass also maintains a safe, stable heat gradient—critical for reptiles’ and amphibians’ health, as they rely on external heat sources to regulate body temperature. In the wild, these animals thermoregulate by moving between sun and shade or surface and burrows. If too cool, their metabolism slows; extreme temperatures trigger inactivity or hibernation. Proper temperature is essential for digestion, growth, and overall well-being.
