The large garden pot is designed for all weather conditions due to its linear, low-density polyethylene (polyresin) construction and UV-resistant, hand-painted finish. The double-wall design with full-depth inner wall allows for optimal root insulation without compromising the soil capacity. The planter's outer wall can be filled with gravel or sand to weigh it down to withstand windy conditions. A drainage hole can be added to the area indicated on the bottom of the planter. Drill with a 1/4" bit through both walls for proper drainage. If using the planter indoors, be sure to use a protective saucer to protect floors from spills and water damage.

This rustic terra cotta pot is given its unique character by using a centuries old, handmade process using canvas lined molds and traditionally fired kilns then rubbed by hand with dried moss and let to sit outdoors to naturally age which gives it a one-of-a-kind natural patina. Each piece is distressed using old clay to add texture and individually handled so natural ware such as gentle chips and variation in color are to be expected and embraced. This Terra Cotta Pot has drainage hole.

The product is hand-made by skilled artisans and then high fired in kilns to provide you with a beautiful, durable finished product. The different finishes of terra cotta make each one unique. Terra cotta must be protected in the wintertime to prevent damage from freezing.
