These pillow case are soft and cool to the touch at first. They are also very stretchy. The queen size stretches to fit a king pillow. I gave them a 4 star because they only feel cool when you initially put your head on them. Within moments the temperature feels normal. If you reposition you head to a new spot it feels cool again, but you quickly acclimate. The material is soft and they do look nice. Very firm and supports the neck without causing cramping of my neck which is a problem I have had with other travel pillows. I have tried several different ones, even ones I had to blow up myself. Just as stated in the product description the rayon bamboo covering is cooling, soft and so cozy feeling that I kept it around my neck while trying it out sitting on the couch. As stated above my neck can get cramped and stiff, this is due to degenerative arthritis. Sitting at my laptop for periods of time can cause my neck to lock, but this pillow has allowed me to spend a little more time on it. Shouldn't have been so surprised when the description says head and neck support. I can’t wait for my trip in July to try it out on the plane. This pillow is not bulky either and comes in a neat zip up carrying case with a handle. Or you can put it in a carry on easily because it won’t take up a lot of space. Love it. I love them. I will buy these over and over again. If you have memory foam pillows, do not zip all the way leave some space to air out, and the pillow will fluff up again. Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended.
