The well designed gazebo took my husband and I about 8 hours to put together. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and the pieces were clearly marked. The only drawback is that the legs are hollow and not solid wood. I would still definitely recommend it!. Melody. Wed Sep 16 2026

Just purchased a lake front lot wanted a gazebo for entertaining. Looked at lots of options and settled on this one because it fit in with the nature of the lot and the cedar framing was such a nice feature. It took 3 weekends to assemble but my husband and I really enjoyed the process. Directions were sufficient for a couple of amateur’s. We have received so many compliments on it. I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience).. CHEAP ALL THE WAY AROUND, INCLUDING THE HARDWARE PROVIDED. EVERYTHING IS SUPPOSED TO BE PREDRILLED OR MARKED ON WOOD. HOWEVER, DOWEL HOLES DRILLED ON WRONG SIDE AND TOO DEEP. WHEN DOWEL WAS INSERTED WENT RIGHT THROUGH THE WOOD, CRACKED WOOD, CRACKED ROOFING. ALSO, I NOTICE ON THE HORIZONTAL WOOD PIECES IT APPEARS DOWELS HOLES WERE DRILLED BUT ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS, NOTING IS MENTIONED ABOUT INSERTING DOWELS IN THESE HOLES WHICH WOULD GIVE MORE SUPPORT. I JUST HOPE IT'LL SURVIVE THE WINTER. NOT SURE IF THE ROOF COULD HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW. UGH. I WOULD UPLOAD PHOTOS BUT I CAN'T DO IT RIGHT NOW. MAYBE WHEN I HAVE MORE TIME. Jan. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great!! I can finally sit outside on my rooftop patio in the rain!  You can do alot with a 12x16. I have two couches and two swivel chairs as well as a coffee table under it Took me one evening of sorting and assembling the beams about 4hrs  Full assembly one 12hr the next day 16hrs in total with two people for the roof.  Two people all day could probably do it in 6-8hrs  Only reason I gave it a 4star review was because the plastic, protective, coating on the roof panels is impossible to take off I took me a half an hour to peel off one whole panel. I said forget this and left the rest.  Idk why its not just grab one corner and rip off.  Its like peeling off cling wrap  I havent had any problems with it being on And my roof gets direct afternoon sun. I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. Im looking forward to seeing how it does this winter in the snow.. Erin. Amherst, NY. Tue Jul 07 2026
