This high security loop lock is constructed of solid steel and features a 2-1/4 in. reach. It engages into a diecast keeper bracket, and it is for use on left-handed sliding patio doors with narrow rails. The hardened steel locking rod secures the door to the jamb using a through bolt design.

These chain door guards are constructed of steel chains, diecast housings, plates, and keepers, and they come in optional plated finishes. These locks engage by allowing the bolts to slide into the keyed mechanisms to lock. They use B1 keyways, ILCO (1098M). These chain door locks allow doors to open only slightly for safe viewing and ventilation. Installation of these locks mounted out of children’s reach will help prevent them from opening doors to enter or exit into dangerous or off-limit areas. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Great product for protecting concrete. Be careful with how you want to apply this product. I used a plastic container and sprayer, and this sealer literally melted the plastic/ spraying wand. I had to buy stailess steel sprayer to apply this sealer. Also, use a very good quality gloves to avoid any skin rash. It would be great if the supplier supplied MSDS sheet and warning label to not to use any plastic sprayer. Product is excellent, easy to apply! This Prime-Line Swing Bar Door Guard will increase peace of mind when answering the door by allowing the door to be cracked open slightly for viewing. When engaged, a ball on the keeper interlocks with the bar lock and prevents an intruder from pushing their way through. We have improved upon the standard door guard design and added an innovative backup thumb turn security lock that blocks the release tool from disengaging the door guard latch. In cases of emergency, hotel security or emergency crews can pop the thumb turn off of the unit by applying approximately 100 pounds of force to the door. (Note that 100 pounds of force is much greater than a simple kick in, so the emergency release feature does not compromise your security.) Additionally, after the thumb turn lock breaks away, the unit still operates as a traditional swing bar door lock and a specially designed Anti-Lockout emergency access tool is required to swing the door guard out of place.
