The well designed gazebo took my husband and I about 8 hours to put together. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and the pieces were clearly marked. The only drawback is that the legs are hollow and not solid wood. I would still definitely recommend it!. Melody. Wed Sep 16 2026

I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience).. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great!! I can finally sit outside on my rooftop patio in the rain!  You can do alot with a 12x16. I have two couches and two swivel chairs as well as a coffee table under it Took me one evening of sorting and assembling the beams about 4hrs  Full assembly one 12hr the next day 16hrs in total with two people for the roof.  Two people all day could probably do it in 6-8hrs  Only reason I gave it a 4star review was because the plastic, protective, coating on the roof panels is impossible to take off I took me a half an hour to peel off one whole panel. I said forget this and left the rest.  Idk why its not just grab one corner and rip off.  Its like peeling off cling wrap  I havent had any problems with it being on And my roof gets direct afternoon sun. It’s an nice pergola but just had issues with missing hardware. Anonymous. Thu Jul 16 2026

The wooden frame of the backyard pergola offers strong support and is suitable for various weather conditions. Measuring 12x14 ft, it provides ample room for family gatherings and outdoor activities. Metal roof gazebo's wooden exterior is simple yet modern, adding a natural touch to any outdoor setting. Functions as a gazebo, a shading structure, or even a storage space for various purposes. Ensures a secluded space for relaxation and gatherings.

Love this gazebo so far! My husband I put this together in about 11 hours. I will say that there were some parts that were mislabeled and a couple of pieces that were missing the pilot holes. But, overall the assembly wasn’t nearly as bad as I imagined.. Carly. Mon Aug 17 2026

Enhance your outdoor space with our hexagonal gazebo featuring a 13' x 15' diagonal length and an overall exterior profile measuring 13' x 15'. This unique design adds character to your patio while providing a larger shaded area for relaxation and entertainment.Enjoy privacy and comfort with the detachable curtains and netting that can be adjusted separately through a dual-track system. The double hardtop design allows for excellent airflow and sunlight filtration, with a sloped roof for efficient rainwater runoff, making it perfect for patios.Constructed with a powder-coated aluminum frame, this gazebo is sturdy and weather-resistant.The ample coverage area provides plenty of space without feeling crowded, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy outdoor moments.

This will take 2-3 people to assemble (3 people for the roof to make it easier). If you are putting this together yourself you and helper or two should be able to get it done in about 6 hours or so. Once correctly assembled it is very sturdy and is exactly what we were looking for a more permanent structure. This replaces an all cloth (with metal frame) gazebo that we had and it looks like it is going to last quite nicely. The mosquito netting on the top is a bit of a joke. It isn't big enough to fit all around the interior roof. By the time you get half of the net up, the other half starts coming off the Velcro. Maybe it will stretch out over time? PRO's: - Very Sturdy once all assembled and mounted down. - Shipped with a lot of foam padding and hard wood ends to protect the roofing from damage. - Minor bends from shipping that could be bent back with pilers. - Cloth curtains and inner bug netting does fit all around (if installed correctly) to fully enclose the gazebo. - Cloth curtains also appear to be made of good quality fabric. - Says it will hold up to 3,000 lbs of snow, and wind gusts up to 55 mph. Where I live it will test this! CON's: - 1 of the 3 boxes is EXTREMELY HEAVY. This was very hard for the shipper and me moving it around. - Top mosquito netting doesn't fit all the way around, it is too tight - should have a bit more give.. Brad. Aurora, CO. Wed Feb 05 2025

We are very happy with our Backyard Discovery Beaumont 14x12 pergola! The only negative would be the time it took to arrive, which was about six weeks. Otherwise, it is very well made and looks beautiful. You need at least three people to put together. Fortunately, we had four grown men who are in construction for a living so it was pretty painless, but it did take about three hours.. Amy. West Richland, WA. Sun Jun 14 2026

This outdoor gazebo will give you a place to not only shelter from the sun and rain, but also a private space where you can spend quality time with family and friends.

Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good. The worst thing is that the quality is bad, and it falls apart. Then, I have a pile of scrap metal in my backyard. So far, very pleased.. Dr. Frank Heresco. Corvallis, Oregon. Tue May 19 2026

Nice looking and sturdy gazebo. Took me about 7 hours with no help, but 2 ladders came in handy. Wood seems soft and marks or dents easy. A couple of bolt holes were offset and in one of the front black from cross brackets, there was no hole at all. Otherwise, we love it overall.. Art. Oceanside, CA. Sat Oct 10 2026

The roof of the hardtop gazebo is made of powder-coated galvanized steel, which not only enhances the gazebo's ability to withstand wind and snow but also isolates it from direct contact with the air, making it less prone to rust and extending its lifespan.

The roof was hard to do, still has a little opening here and there. Wondered what can we do to cover it The drapes straps were difficult to work with. Still waiting for them to send the video how to use it! And. Peggy. Fri Sep 18 2026

Crafted from durable spruce wood, this gazebo adds natural charm and stability to your outdoor space. The double-roof design improves airflow and helps prevent water buildup, while salt spray–tested hardware enhances durability. Mesh netting provides insect protection and ventilation, and a built-in USB light strip creates a warm evening ambiance. Perfect for relaxing or entertaining outdoors. Assembly takes 3–4 people about 4 hours.

Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself..
