We just needed a small stool in a couple of spots to have a way to reach up and pull the shades down, so this design fit the need perfectly. There was only one small problem, the top of one of the two units had a noticeable large gouge in the top. I like that the fabric fully wraps around the top of the ottoman itself, so the black interior liner does not show. It's sturdy, and although small, I can sit on it and it feels very solid. I have a weight machine in my master bedroom and needed something to put attachments in so they are out of sight, and this is just perfect.
