The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. Once ordered, this bed frame with headboard arrived within a few days securely packaged all in one box!! I'm stressing one box because there was an incident with this delivery where the FedEx driver originally showed two snapshots on my account ...one was the correct box which was left at my door and the other box left at the door of a different apt in the same building! When I went outside to get the boxes, the one left at the wrong door wasn't there?!! I naturally assumed that someone must have taken it and immediately reported it to Fedex. I then called Wayfair and the lady I spoke to explained she was seeing both snapshots too! While waiting on Fedex response, I called Wayfair again to get an update! I got a different person who explained there should only have been one box and she only was seeing one snapshot!? She had me open the box to make sure everything was there. Of course everything was was right there all in one box! I then called Fedex back to explain all of this again and to let them know everything was okay! It was obviously a fluke with the Fedex driver but Fedex never admitted to or explained what really happened with the second snapshot. At any rate, I was happy to know that I had received everything in the one box. The bed frame with the headboard is really nice! It took awhile to assemble, but, I'm sure most anyone else, especially a man, could put it together in no time! The item arrived in a box that was clearly already opened before/damaged. The pieces of the bed frame were all still wrapped in plastic so that was promising. Then, I get to step 2 of assembly and realize that all four legs are defective. There's a built-in screw piece that prevents you from drilling the legs into the base of the bed. I attached an image so you can see what I mean. I hired a task rabbit to make sure I wasn't just misreading the directions, but confirmed - it's a faulty design. Then I took to the reviews section again and saw a HANDFUL of negative reviews stating how this bed frame comes with faulty parts, and for people lucky enough to actually assemble the full thing properly, it breaks within months. I paid $130.02 total for the full bed frame on sale. I paid an additional $35.39 for the FedEx shipping to return it. And the grand total refund for a faulty product? $94.63. Great. So I just paid $70.78 to lug a heavy a** box up the steps, unpack and realize it's defective, repack it, haul it downstairs. And Wayfair Support won't get back to me about the refund for the additional $70.78. Their chatbot says "our refund policies don't refund shipping costs" - but what about if the product itself is defective and a piece of sh**? Anyway. A high profile heavy-duty bed frame that will only fit standard king bedding. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed extra-tall glides. The glides are much stronger than a wheel. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 10 1/2" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4" hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. The steel in this frame is a high strength, high carbon, hot rolled steel. The steel consists of 97% recycled material, which makes this frame a heavy-duty, environmentally friendly product.

I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The only draw back is that over time the mattress shifts one or two inches on the frame; however it is very easy to shift the mattress back so it aligns with the headboard.. Edisa. NY.
