I screened in my back porch where it gets over 100 degrees in summer. I could feel the difference in temperature just putting it up. I love that during the day it gives me privacy from street traffic. It keeps bugs at bay, they dont like the dark color. My granddaughter can play out here and be comfortable with nice breeze, no sun, no bugs!! It may be an unorthodox use of this awesome shade cloth, but I couldnt think of a better use for it..when it rains the screen just catches the drops before it comes on deck.
