Decoration: For best results, your pillow inserts should be larger than your sham to correctly fill the corners of the pillow cover, This will provide a very attractive firm, and fluffy look to your sham. We recommend placing our inserts in shams that are 1" to 2" smaller than the pillow, It would depend on the thickness of the sham, a thick fabric would need a 2" larger insert to keep it fluffed, and a thinner fabric would need a 1" lager insert. Gel infused shredded memory foam combines the best of both worlds to provide you with the best sleep possible. Memory foam can retain body heat, resulting in a pillow that is too warm in the middle of the night. Infusing gel into the memory foam fibers solves this issue because the gel stays below your body temperature, providing you with a continuous cooling effect that will help you sleep more peacefully!

This plush, soft pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!
