(Writing the review because it says I can earn $5 back and I'm trying to make back some of the money I spent on another $100 item that came totally destroyed but I didn't open it and return it within the return window. This is a very high quality cabinet, very solid, feels like real wood, and the top is truly a slab of stone. They don't tell you that you should probably glue the top on after assembling, so I recommend a little silicon caulk, but even if you don't glue it it should stay in place. The drawers are a little tight, and for a cabinet this small that can make it difficult to pull them without wobbling the whole cabinet. I removed a star because it took almost 3 hours to put together, and that was an experienced handyman that did it. He said it was very involved. The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see.
