The instructions were not the most user-friendly, but since I’m quite handy with assembling things, I managed to comprehend most of the directions. However, I can understand how some people might find it challenging. Lastly, please don’t be like me and attempt to assemble this gazebo on your own. My son, who is an architectural engineer had no trouble putting together this gazebo for my 60th birthday, he was impressed with the craftsmenship, the only downside was the size of delivery, I was forced to have the 18 wheeler back over my grass lawn and drop the pallets since they could only be dropgate delivery.. the neighborhood, strangers and passerby’s have inquired about this product so it may produce more sales...next twinkle lights, flower bed and a chime and picture will be complete..happy birthday to me!. Goor for shade and mosquito relief. This is the second one I’ve purchased. First one held up OK— I used pole tape at joints and had weights on the legs. Overtime the netting part of the cover deteriorated a bit and began to rip easily probably due to it being out in the 100 degree summer weather. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature. The gazebo looks nice once finished . It was not too difficult to assemble even though the instructions are quiet rough . We did it with just my husband and I. The worst part is the roof pieces have a film that has to be removed and that took up the most of our time. It was brutal . Maybe 4 hours to remove . The 12 ft umbrella is exactly what we needed for our pool area to provide some shade. Assembly took about an hour to put it all together. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base.
