Honestly has more padding than what it looks like. Comfortable to do plyo, mobility, stretching and was easy to install. If you’re going to cut to size I recommend turning over and cutting from bottom. I used some double sided utility tape to tape seams together and stick to floor but not even sure it was necessary. Bought this as a potty mat for our two dogs while we are on the boat. I had a Gromit to one corner so that I could tie it to a cleat. It is easy to hose off when necessary. Occasionally, we will push it into the water and let it clean itself off. I would definitely buy this again and probably will.
