The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. Sturdy and well made, instructions were fairly clear and with a one man assembly expect an all day project, but with 2 people who are fairly handy should be a breeze. It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. This pergola is a modern addition that looks sharp attached to my old house. I would have given it five stars. However, it required three professionals and took them four hours to install. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill. For the most part this pergola is everything I could have hoped for. Absolutely in love with the look and feel of our patio after installing this. Putting it together is a lot of work so come prepared! The sound on the roof as it rains is so relaxing. We have had extremely high winds with no issues but it has not gone through hail or snow yet so I can’t speak on that currently.
