First things first, the frame does seem to be constructed of wood but the 'wood grain' finish is a veneer. If you're hoping for a raw wood look this may not be the frame you want. That being said, it is a very well-constructed frame and I was so thrilled to get it in a size that's otherwise difficult to find (6"x6"). Acrylic really does have superior clarity when compared to glass - it will scratch much more easily, of course, but so long as the frame isn't in a high-traffic spot that really shouldn't be an issue.. Emily. North Berwick, ME. Sun Feb 12 2023

Nice quality and very light to easy to hang.. Kelsey. Overland Park, KS. Thu May 21 2026

This frame is great and works perfect for my artwork I wanted to frame. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that the backing seemed a little more flimsy (I think its a foam board) than other frame backings.. Anonymous. Brooklyn, NY. Sun Jun 21 2020

Frame was not stained or finished in backside. There was some overlapping stain, but it did not cover all of the frame. To me, this looked shoddy & cheap. I was disappointed to place the artwork I had had rendered in this frame. Only salvation was that the back will face a wall!. Sandra E. Pen Argyl, PA. Thu Oct 12 2023
