The beautiful tone of tone color striations and luxurious pile are the foundation of the rug. The rug is artfully handmade with a dense, yet soft rayon from bamboo silk pile and dyed with a fresh blend of tones to create the perfect accent to any decor. Simply elegant!

Absolute show stopper. Effervescent, soft durable rug. The sheen of the bamboo silk is elegant yet modest. Bamboo is also regenerative with very little resources so this is a somewhat sustainable product! (Ivory does reveal any dirt or dark fuzz, so I try to keep the animals off .). Shay. Atlanta, GA. The Serapi Collection reinterprets traditional tribal geometric design through a refined palette. Each rug is hand-knotted from hand-spun lamb’s wool, creating a soft underfoot feel. Natural variation in the yarn introduces depth and tonal variation, while vegetable-based dyes produce a warm, earth-toned palette. A patina gives each piece the appearance of an aged Serapi rug. Designed for traditional and transitional interiors.

Stunning rug!! I was a little hesitant to get this rug because rugs are hard to photograph accurately. It did not disappoint! The rug arrived neatly packaged, and the red has minimal shedding. The colors are classy and match the pictures exactly.. Cristina. Arlington, VA. Fri Aug 21 2026

Hand Knotted Silk Rugs are second to none when it comes to quality. Silk fibers are much thinner allowing our weavers to maximum the knots per square inch in a rug. This will escalate the labor as well as material in the rug. These traits along with the cost of silk make hand knotted silk rugs some of the most expensive rugs in the world.

This is a hand crafted product, natural irregularities, color variations and/or striations are inherent characteristics and are not to be considered defects. Patterns, colors and/or sizes may also vary slightly. Due to the nature of manufacturing, Exquisite Rugs cannot always guarantee immediate availability of all sizes.
