Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing! I would likely not buy from this manufacturer again.. Debra. Redding. Wed Jun 24 2026

I purchased two for either side of my TV. They look just like I expected and fit perfectly. The black metal and brown shelves suit my slightly modern industrial decor. They are sturdy and the feet are adjustable so they don’t wobble. It was a little difficult for me as a 75-yr old female to assemble myself but the second one was much easier once I figured out the best way to do it. If I can do it, anyone can!. Denise. The cabinet itself is beautiful (nice warm dark brown) and was easy for me (at 73 yrs old) to assemble. I just wish that they would come with a kit with two small screw drivers to assemble. I only found one small chip on the backside corner of the cabinet. It was easy for me to lift and put into place. I really wish I could have found it at 17 inches wide. OUTSTANDING UNITS! We purchased 4 of these and "ganged" them together just like the picture. I am a 40 yr journey/master carpenter and I was exceptionally pleased at how these went together. I purchase a two-pack of this bookcase and it is incredibly sturdy, and the wayfair professional assembly was great. It was not super complicated, and the bookcase is easy to move despite its size. The two bookshelves sit next to each other pefectly. The shelves are deep enough to hold three full rows of paperbacks, or two rows of hardcovers. It fits so many books! The shelf doors also have the slow-close feature to prevent slamming. The only possible downside is the weight. It came in several boxes of about 100lb each. Some were very long, some were short but dense. It definitely takes two people to move the boxes inside! The order shipped fast, and arrived on time. Despite the weight of the boxes, the shelves themselves are a good balance of sturdy and heavy. The ladder comes as a separate package, easy to assemble, and just hooks onto the individual rings. it doesn't slide, but that's okay, because I have it on a rug. The ladder is super light and is tall enough that you can access the top shelf and even on top of the bookshelf! Overall I would happily buy this bookcase again.. Nick. Chicago, IL. Thu Oct 15 2026
