It is just the right size for my needs. Honestly I have not had a chance to have it hooked up since it was delivered just before the Holidays. Mine is only hooked up to the cold water line but if you connect it to a tap that has hot and cold water you could mix or use hot water. I personally think it washes as well with cold.
