Before I say anything about this fan let me tell you to get a 4” junction box and not the standard 3.5” in most homes. Just save yourself the time and get ahead of that! The fan was easy to put up. After doing it I would only change one thing. I would take out the screws for the blades before getting the fan 15 feet up in the air. You’ll save your shoulders from the burn! The fan pushed a good amount of air and is super quiet! I also appreciate all of the extra parts for multiple installation scenarios. While I didn’t need them it was nice knowing they were there in case I did! The only downside was that the directions were skimpy but it was pretty self-explanatory.. Lisa. Tunnel Hill, GA. I’m very glad that I purchased this and look forward to using it when I’m working on my garage or other spaces that need air movement. Bond Bridge turns most ceiling fans, motorized shades, awnings, or fireplaces smart in seconds. There’s no complicated installation. Simply plug in the Bond Bridge, and download the app to your smartphone (available for iOS and Android). You can now use the app to do everything that your remote could do. The Bond Bridge connects to your internet WiFi network, instantly making it compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant. This means that your ceiling fan and fireplace can be voice-activated. The control and automation of your home have never been easier!

I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. I also have it set up to turn up in one of the rooms that gets hot a lot, based on a thermometer's level in SmartThings. Love that!. Nathan. Bellevue, NE. Wed May 27 2026
