I took a chance with the sofa and also ordered 2 of the loveseats to coordinate at this firepit area. It needs to be put together and was somewhat time consuming as each piece comes in it's own box and is packaged well with lots of padding etc. Also, some of the holes didn't line up and needed to be drilled out a bit to make the screws fit so beware of that. I have the sofa separated in the middle and am waiting for small side tables to be off backorder to coordinate with this. The cushions are thick and the white is bright white. The sofa is sleek and modern. It doesn't appear as a outdoor piece which is why I chose this style to try something different. There are no cushions that shift around when sitting or standing so the overall look is clean. There is a connector at the base to connect the two sofa pieces together. The sofa chaise combo arrived in 2 packages a few days apart. I was able to assemble this by myself fairly quickly with no issues. The frame is sturdy and powder-coated, so it seems resistant to scratches. The cushions are more of a cream (yellow based) rather than a true beige (brown based). The seat cushions are thick and sturdy. The back cushions were thin, even after allowing them to puff up, so I put some thinner bed pillows in there and that worked perfectly.
