I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. I dont think the size of the comforter is accurate. But other than that... it's not bad. I do get hot but I am also hot natured so I just remove the cover off, or stick a leg out. I don't understand some complaints about that because they cannot make a universal comforter that fits everyone's needs. Some people get cold more easier, some people get more hot easier. Functionally it is great! The button line up perfectly to keep the duvet in place. A couple of shakes and the down is redistributed across the whole spread. The material is a bit stiff but worth it because it stays cool. We got the green one and the pattern is loud.
