I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I. I like it! I did 90% of the assembly alone. You need help putting on legs. Putting on snow load supports is a little tricky alone, they are tight. I only attached 8 bunges cords before I put on legs so I could work in the shade. I had to stand on a step stool for sides and used a 6' ladder for peaks. I live on the coast so I used 12 tie downs. The standard 8 (one I had to just go straight down, no room) and 2 each in the interior front and back. I used screw in type supports and 550 paracord and cinch knotted on the inside supports. I used 1/8" wire and turnbuckles on outside supports. I put 1 1/2" PVC over exteror supports to protect people and pets from running into/hurting themselves. I also think it will be easier for yard trimmer. I would love to say it took me 3 hours but in reality it took me most of the day. It is beautiful, but hard to build, a lot of screws, which take an Alan wrench, all that could have been avoided with the use of buttons that click into place, but the worst part is the Curtains, the directions do not tell you how to put the curtains up, it took four times, with trial and error to figure out how to hang the curtains, if you buy one, you will know what I mean. But when it is built, it is so pretty, and cool inside, the neighbors have stopped speaking. That is when you know you have done good Just a tip, the heavy drapes go on the big bar with the tie strings in the outside, so you can tie the onto the poles with the seam Aligning with each pole The mosquito netting hangs on those smaller curtain rods, which angle out the wrong way to someone that doesn’t know what’s going on, I can zip them and place them on the small skinny curtain rods, making sure that the ties are facing toward the pole that ties them to the pole, And unzip them as you go, that’s pretty much it. The canopy material is thick and durable however the stitching should have been reinforced because a strong wind could cause ripping. I will say the final product is beautiful, feels sturdy but won’t really know until, I use it more. I won’t lie, it was a mission to be built. I originally booked someone to build it, but my delivery didn’t come together as expected and one part was delivered late and I still had to pay for the build but couldn’t get it built and neeeded to do it myself. If you have 4-6 capable humans, you can get it done in 6-8 hours but I did it with 2 and it took 2 days and a half days. The half day, was because we had to peel the plastic off the roof pieces and they were stuck on due to the heat from transporting this item to me. I will say be very careful during that process we had a lot of cuts on our hands and legs from this process, it was unnecessarily dangerous. We got the frame up in one day, the roof in the other and then the nets and curtain. We added a fan but there isn’t really a structure to run the wiring for the fan, like hooks or anything, to bring it down to the Elric which was disappointing. We do love the color, and love the double nets, but can’t describe the logevitubof the final product as we’ve only had it up a week. We thing we like is at the top of the roof, there are bug guards in the vents of the roof to prevent bugs coming in, which I’ve seen others that don’t have this. I love my new gazebo!! It is beautiful and very elegant. It seems a little complicated to put together but it’s really not all you need is a little patience and the instructions. The manual says 4-5 people needed but in our case 2 seniors (hubby I) did it all by ourselves. Because of bad weather it took us 2 afternoons to assemble but it can be done in one. When we finished, we had a strong storm pass by with high winds and lots of rain and it didn’t even move. It covers perfectly our patio furniture and protects it from direct sunlight.
