We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together. This bookcase did exactly what I needed! I’m very happy with this bookcase overall. It looks beautiful once assembled and styled, and it has a more elevated look than I expected for the price. The shelves are deeper than I originally realized, which actually worked out well because I was able to use it for books, skincare, fragrance, décor, small plants, and framed pieces without everything feeling cramped. Assembly took some patience, but once it was together it felt sturdy and looked much better than I expected. I especially like that it gives me enough storage without making the room feel heavy or cluttered. One thing I would recommend is purchasing furniture anchors for added stability and safety, especially since this is a taller piece. I would also suggest measuring your space and planning your shelf layout ahead of time because the depth can surprise you. Once I figured out how I wanted to style it, I really loved the finished look. I only found one small chip on the backside corner of the cabinet. It was easy for me to lift and put into place. I really wish I could have found it at 17 inches wide. Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing!
