Flaunting a modern design, the LED flush mount ceiling lights are dressed in a black finish and a sepia wood finish. This was the perfect choice for my home office. The jbox which controls this light fixture would not allow for a dimmer switch so this Deontee fixture worked perfectly: LED, dimmable and the ability to change the color temperature. It was affordable and easy to install (though I think I need to fiddle with it a bit so the fixture will fit more flush to the ceiling). I am considering placing an order for a second fixture in an adjacent hallway--good to know that one remote can control both fixtures.. Gerry. Minneapolis, MN. Sun Oct 18 2026

Fourth time we ordered this light. We love the other 3 so we replaced to more rooms. Now have a total of 5 of them. All are great!. John. Ocala, FL. Sat Oct 17 2026

The traditional round shaped light is wrapped in a broad black strip with a wood grain interior and a bright white shade. When it lights up, you can clearly see the wood grain color of the inner layer, like the forest at night.

We replaced an old fluorescent fixture with this LED fixture. Our house was built in 1939, but I'd date the the original fixture from the 1990s. This light is well-priced and, in turn, the "wood" does not look much like wood (photos attached). It is a cheap plastic imitation made to look like wood, and even less than the product photos suggest. I know this is a tradeoff for the price. It looks metallic (more gold than wood) when the light is on. Installation was simple enough, but please know that light is attached to the bracket upon arrival so you'll want to twist it off before installation. With our older wiring, we didn't have a green ground screw (existing wires were already grounded), so we capped the provided copper ground wire. The light it a very warm/yellow light -- not a natural/white sunny light -- and I don't know yet if this will feel like too little light. This is an upgrade from what we had -- a fluorescent light that took a few seconds to blink on to minimal visibility -- and is a good price. I still feel it's lacking, though, and that maybe it's worth spending 2x more for a fixture that feels more intentional, if that's in your budget.. Shannon. Denver, CO. Sun Jun 14 2026

Was able to install myself in about 5-10. Only had difficulties when I realized the pre-wiring in the home included 4 wires - Ground, white, black, and red (typically used for ceiling fans/smoke detectors. In my case, needed to connect the black wire from the light fixture to the red wire in the ceiling. Did not use the black wire in the electrical box. Super easy to install. We have two of them on one light switch and 1 on another. Unfortunately they do not have a memory function so they don’t always coordinate and the remote won’t control them all at once. However for the price they are great. The remote is easy to use and one remote can be pointed at each light but it won’t control all the lights at once.. Leah. Providence, RI. Sun Sep 06 2026
