Have had this for about a month now and has been used heavily with 2-3 bags of trash a day with my large family. I researched for a good week every day looking at styles and comparing brands and then comparing prices and similar styles etc. I almost missed this one and was happy to find to find it since a lot of my hardware in the house are by this brand giving a true seamless look. The quality is fantastic and I’ve got zero complaints after a month of use. It’s very much a true fingerprint less style and the few times it’s looked like a blemish or print it’s quickly and easily wiped out looking brand new again. If you’re doing something that has you wanting an open top instead of a pedal it’s super easy to flip the top up into the lock/hold position to keep it open as well as when you change bags and just as easy to flip it back down. It’s sturdy, and so nice looking most everyone hasn’t recognized it to be a garbage can! Great trash can! Was searching for a kitchen trash can that will fit- when opened- under an overhanging counter top. This one fits the bill! It is a bit smaller that our old 12 gallon swivel top can, but our tall kitchen trash bags fits so we will use them up before using the 15 sized bags that can with the purchase! I think the high price ($50 or more) for a kitchen trash can is ridiculous but after fighting with our swivel top can, this is worth it’s price tag to be able to step on its lever and top opens and in goes the trash. Looks pretty good and was very easy to set up. Doesn’t come with batteries, that was a bit annoying. Reasons for not giving a 5 it’s not as smart as other trash cans I’ve used where if you open it and it senses that you’re still emptying something, it will stay open. This one just closes after the number of seconds, on top of your hands. You can keep it open but you have to push the Open thing and then it doesn’t close automatically, you have to push Close to close it.
