Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. Does not show any signs of heat at the bottom so it is safe to use on countertops. I might just get a silicone mat anyway. Overall I love it and will play with it more.. Keisha. Corona, NY. PIC 100: A Burner That Travels Like a Chef. You’re not always home when inspiration strikes. Sometimes it’s a dockside patio, a cabin countertop, or the quiet corner of a studio kitchen. The Equator PIC 100 Portable Induction Cooktop is made for those places. Lightweight, elegant, and incredibly efficient, it brings 1400W of focused induction heat wherever you decide to cook next. Its aluminum handle stays cool as the A-grade ceramic glass surface heats with precision. With 6 heat levels, touch controls, and a footprint small enough to pack with ease, the PIC 100 doesn’t try to be everything—it just tries to be exactly what you need, when and where you need it most.

Summit's selection of Safety First electric cooktops includes thoughtfully designed choices ideal for trusted user safety in hotel rooms, extended stay suites, independent living facilities, and other kitchen settings that require an added level of peace of mind. All Safety First cooktops have an extended 3-year limited warranty for parts and labor. The SINCH115V2B is a 2-zone induction cooktop with 110-120V power sources. The pre-installed cord includes a 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug for fast setup. Smooth black glass made by EuroKera creates an attractive, easy-to-clean surface. This cooktop features two 1200W standard 6" elements to accommodate most general cooking needs. NOTE: Due to the 115V operation, a power management function limits the overall output to 1800W. If both elements are in use and the power exceeds 1800W, the cooktop will automatically reduce the power level of the element that is not being adjusted. For maximum user safety, this cooktop is designed with a 30-minute automatic shutoff mechanism. This mechanism disables each burner after half an hour of no user activity to prevent unsupervised cooking. It also shuts down if the power is activated, but there's no activity after one minute, ensuring the elements won't heat if a guest accidentally touches the wrong button. Users can also activate the child lock to prevent unintended changes. The SINCH115V2B is equipped with easy-to-use digital controls that are located up front to comply with ADA guidelines for user accessibility, ensuring users don't have to reach over a hot burner to make adjustments. Once your cooking is finished, a residual heat indicator stays illuminated until the surface has cooled down. This cooktop comes in a popular size ideal for smaller kitchen spaces, including hotel suites and studio apartments. It is designed for installation in common cutouts sized at 10 5/8" W x 19 5/8" D. With its ideal size and advanced safety features, the SINC2B115V is the perfect cooktop to ensure intuitive, safe cooking in a variety of small kitchen settings. For this model with a 220V connection, see unit SINCH230V2B. Additional choices are available, including induction and radiant cooktops in white glass. Browse the full Summit line for more options. NOTE: Induction cooling utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen.

Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5. I'll get used to to it. Manual and the underside of induction plate recommends one hour use and two hrs of rest. Doesn't sound like a long usage time. . Robert. Niagara Falls, ON. Tue Sep 29 2020

Dual-burner ceramic cooktop, 1800W total power and 9 adjustable levels, meets diverse cooking needs from melting to sautéing with precision and speed. Dual-ring heating accelerates cooking, sensor touch control simplifies operation, and safety features (residual heat indicator, overheat protection, timer, child lock) ensure worry-free use. Smooth ceramic glass surface is easy to clean and fits most cookware, with flexible countertop or built-in installation.

I got this for camping because it’s streamlined and no bulk whatsoever. The burners heated up instantly and when shut off a reminder was there that the plate was still hot. Being a ceramic tool it needs special cookware that does not have ridges on the bottoms, same as a full size stove. Temperature control is accurate and a plus is it can be locked from little fingers (children) exploring. 1800W is a bonus!! I’m very happy with this and wished I knew about it sooner.. Laura S.
