This is a tougher review than usual. It’s a beautiful console, prefect size and color. It arrived fresh out of the box wrapped carefully in bubble wrap and styrofoam. But it has some dingsscratches in the metal. There’s a place on the basket that looks a little worn. I assembled and love the look. TBH my family will do this or more damage to the piece in a short time. I decided to keep with damaged areas rather than try again with the same result. I have been looking for a narrow entry table for years that fits where I need it, and this table was perfect! It is a heavy piece for how small it is, which makes it very sturdy and solid wood! For added stability I will most likely use the enclosed screws to mount it to the wall. I doubt anyone will run into it, but with large dogs with strong tails, you never know!
