Dec 2020 - UPDATE: Still have not moved in so have not been using unit. Contractor did a little work a short while back and when I checked on the unit, the large burner did not heat up. Contractor determined mother board was bad. Manufacturer Summit warranty begins at date of purchase; mine was installed 10 months later; of course, October 2020 is WAYYY outside warranty, and Summit will not address or repair, even if I return it to them. I understand, but this is lousy customer service. I will pursue, but if you don't install immediately upon purchase, beware. Very disappointed. I got this for camping because it’s streamlined and no bulk whatsoever. The burners heated up instantly and when shut off a reminder was there that the plate was still hot. Seems to be a great cooktop. Unable to install it because the kitchenette is still under construction. It is electric and needs to be hardwired.
