I was worried but as I looked at piece of Xmas tree sticking out from plastic cover - I loved it. It’s a beautiful tree, I picked it among others for the weight as it was the heaviest. It has realistically looking plastic needles but you not going to see them at all, and inner part of a tree is different- in my understanding to maintain the weight otherwise it would be too heavy to handle. My tree size is 9 feet as we have 12 feet high ceiling. I’m also obsessed with lights and it’s modes. My favorite is fading from all yellow lights to multicolored ones. It took me about 2.5-3 hours to put it all together for the first time and fluff it up; it's nice to be able to make adjustments in order to really "fill it in" to my tastes! Looking at it, I can't tell that it's fake, minus the lack of fir smell, of course :) I only wish the middle section locked into place somehow with the base section, as moving it once it's all fluffed is difficult, otherwise. It does not come with a storage bag, so either keep the box or order one. Also, the base is a dead giveaway for a fake tree, so be sure to cover it with a skirt of some kind!. Jennifer. This is an absolutely gorgeous tree. We had a real tree that dried out super fast despite daily watering and I decided to purchase an unlit artificial tree so I could change up the lights from year to you. This tree is spectacular! It’s every bit of ten feet tall and very full. It’s heavy but manageable piece by piece. I am so glad I upgraded to the PowerConnect, what a great feature. It takes some time to fan out each section as you go but it’s well worth it! It took my daughter and me about 3 1/2 hours to get it done and I just touch it up as needed. I love all the different light options and wish it had a remote instead of having to change it with the foot pedal. It also seems to have a connector for a tree topper which I haven’t tried. Love this tree! I really debated and just hoped it would be ok. The lights are perfect - just the right amount. And 12 feet was the perfect size while the circumference is great - not too wide so it fit perfectly against our back wall without being intrusive. It was easy to put together, is full enough as I like that is gave me room for the decorations. I hope it lasts a long time because I really love it.
