In 1957, when their patented TruClose cam-activated hinges and heavy-duty hardware first hit the market it quickly became the top choice for Manhattan developers and architects alike. From Turner Construction when they built the Hofstra Dormitories to HRH Construction when they built Battery Park City, developers continue to purchase their CDM bi-fold and sliding doors. They are the perfect marriage of beauty and safety.

They are okay. The doors are not beveled for the hardware and it takes more than a drill to put them in. The door needs to be grouted if you are going to use hardware. Overall, clean, modern look.. Christine. Lenox, MA. Sat Sep 05 2026

We turned them into bifold doors for closets. I would say they turned out pretty well considering we were going to use them as French doors on the closets. The only thing is the hardware had to be added pretty low on the door. Works well for a kids closet door based on where we had to put the door knob. Still look beautiful!. Kerrin. Ny, NY. The clean, unadorned surfaces (available in natural finishes or neutral tones) serve as a blank canvas, effortlessly integrating with existing interiors. Whether paired with sleek metallic fixtures or warm wooden accents, these panels add warmth and character without overwhelming the room.

I’m quite happy with this door. Delivery took longer than expected but that was the only con. My handyman and his helper installed it in under two hours. The first 30 minutes were spent laying out the hardware, making sure all the right pieces were sent and then meticulously measuring. They said it was a straightforward installation. I need to pull the leading edge of the door out when i close it because of the shoe (aka, baseboard) but that’s easily done. I can find no reason to give this door less than 5 stars.. Christina. It’s a very nice product, with clean lines for a shaker style, it brings the separator to make about three lites in each door . I like the doors better with a full lite and it looks amazing. My only concern was the delivery, the doors were left at the entrance of the house with no advice, no ring bell, and it was a raining week. The packing was excellent and it was easy to install..
