Took two professionals 11 hands-on hours to complete. Instructions claiming it takes 3 hours is a said joke - takes 2 hours just to unpack all the parts and peel plastic coating off the roof panels. Maybe there’s a better way to design it or preassemble some so it doesn’t all fall on the customer. Bigger issue I have is that there are no covers for the hardware at the feet - pretty ugly. Absolutely stunning! The only complaint we have is the assembly. The roof was very difficult to put together and I highly recommend having at least four people to help. There were only two of us and it took 20 hours in two days. The tools provided were an Allen wrench and another tool to hold the bolts. He is smart and experienced. He thinks you'd be ok if you have built one of these before, but even if you are very handy, the instructions are written by somebody who has never built anything. For the most part this pergola is everything I could have hoped for. Absolutely in love with the look and feel of our patio after installing this. Putting it together is a lot of work so come prepared! The sound on the roof as it rains is so relaxing. We have had extremely high winds with no issues but it has not gone through hail or snow yet so I can’t speak on that currently. Assembly took time but as long as you follow all steps everything goes well .My wife and I had to get a couple people to hold things so I could put on the roof trusses.The louvers work great.I even bought a smaller matching gazebo for the bbq area. Don’t forget the step with the glue or it will leak and is a hassle to fix. All good now no leaks at all. Hanging the curtains was a bit of a learning curve to get in the right order. But once you do it’s pretty easy. One zipper started to rip already but we were able to stich it up no problem. Overall this is a great gazebo. I wish they would toss in a handful of extra screws as you always seem to lose or strip out a few. The extra height with the peak in the middle is great.. Bryan. AB. Sun Aug 31 2025

I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I.
