Because they are going on a second floor ceiling, which is vaulted and might be 24 feet high. We have to have our electricians come out to install these. Great lighting for your next event. This product not only washes a wall. It has the ability to fill a full room with color. The remote is not my preferred way to operate it. The app is the way to go. It was easy to download and to operate. It had customizable functions and others that were already programed like heartbeat and strobe. Mounting bracket already intact.
