The Alejoa Wood Desktop Stackable File Organizer arrived very quickly. They were each wrapped in bubble wrap, and each had a set of four round sticky foam pads for the bottom. The organizers stack nicely, but I am using them on opposite sides of my desk. One I am using to hold paperwork that needs to be filed, and the other I am using as a tray to corral a few items on my desk i.e. pencil cup, tissue box, tape and stapler. This is really much more sturdy than I expected. Like, the thought crossed my mind to use it as a stool, but then that didn't seem useful. FYI there are 9 height options (per the peg placements available) per side, but each side only has 5 little shelves. I guess if you wanted to get creative and it suited your purposes, you could put 9 shelves on one side and have 11 mostly very short shelves on one side and then only 1 shelf on the other side with very wide (relatively) vertical spacing. Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing! I was looking for solid wood bookcases but didnt want to spend a fortune. I came across these and thought theyd make for an interesting bookcase. Very versatile. Can arrange anyway you want. I split them up on either side of my chair. My own relaxing nook that Ive always wanted. I was even able to turn one around the corner of the wall and stack the top one to maximize space on the top of the bottom ones. Easy to assemble and seem sturdy enough so far. One of the boards came missing the threaded inserts for the screws but the company promptly sent me a replacement.
