This is really much more sturdy than I expected. Like, the thought crossed my mind to use it as a stool, but then that didn't seem useful. FYI there are 9 height options (per the peg placements available) per side, but each side only has 5 little shelves. I guess if you wanted to get creative and it suited your purposes, you could put 9 shelves on one side and have 11 mostly very short shelves on one side and then only 1 shelf on the other side with very wide (relatively) vertical spacing. The Alejoa Wood Desktop Stackable File Organizer arrived very quickly. They were each wrapped in bubble wrap, and each had a set of four round sticky foam pads for the bottom. The organizers stack nicely, but I am using them on opposite sides of my desk.
