The screws are small, however there’s a panel that fits squarely in the bottom of the box which should in theory lock everything together. Once assembled I lifted it to move it around and it didn’t feel super strong. Has a lot of diagonal movement between the four side panels because of the way it’s designed. The hinges and hinge screws are also pretty small and don’t inspire confidence. Note: you will need to drill some pilot holes to complete the assembly. I’m having trouble writing this review. I thought for sure I had submitted it twice. Here goes and hopefully number three is a charm. I love the deck box. It’s sleek contemporary sturdy. I appreciate the hydraulic lift, but I have found it important to close it applying the pressure directly in the middle. I have not tested the lock, but I’m grateful for that, as I will be storing some valuable items in it while outside. I lost my large shed last month, so this is a lifesaver for me! It seats 2 to 3 people comfortably. With a sleek design, it would nicely fit behind a sofa, under a stairway or even delineate an area. I plan to place it out on my large patio to store cushions a small tool kit and anything else that needs to get put away to avoid clutter. I am planning on using it to store my gazebo canopy this coming winter. All in all, it’s a great deck box and the price can’t be beat. I had been wanting one of these for so long. Nonlonger do I have to worry about my packages being left out in the open. Now they can be kept safe and sound inside thise delivery box. It works great, but I wish ot had come with a lock. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to include. This 260 gallon water resistant resin lockable deck box is HUGE! In a good way! It would be an excellent option for storing patio cushions during rain and snow since it is water resistant. Although we considered that option, we are going to use it for product deliveries to our home to help packages from getting wet and destroyed and or stolen. We will have the lock open and ask the delivery driver to lock it when they leave. It is very durable and was easy to put together. The only problem that I feel could have some attention to are the directions. They are very confusing and not very user friendly. I probably could have put it together a lot quicker without looking at the directions. Besides that, the functionality and integrity of the deck box is truly a five-star. This deck box is absolutely massive and holds everything I needed it to- with room left over! I garden so I needed somewhere to store my extra soil, mulch, and even some extra pots. They were so cluttered in my house and patio so this was my solution. It worked great and there’s even room for more. The only thing I would maybe change would be sealing it a little better- I don’t need a full lock with a code needed or anything but sometimes a strong wind shifts the lid a bit so I’d like to be able to lock it in place.
