Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans. The number of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while giant chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all big Joe bean-filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. I ordered the king size so we have a portable bed for camping. It's so big, but I like it. I do recommend following the instructions to let the bed air out before use (at least a couple of days). It fluffed up twice in size after we laid it out. The pillow part is separate from the bedding and there's a zipper to attach the two pieces. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. They serve their purpose for my dogs. I bought 2. They don’t hold dog odor like other fabrics typically do. Plus, i don’t have to remove the outside cover to wash in washing machine.
