11 x 21 Lifetime Shed

This 11-foot wide storage shed from Lifetime provides the perfect space for a tool shop, outdoor gear and ATVs, or even a place to park your car. Lockable steel-reinforced doors provide added security to protect valuable items, and six shatterproof polycarbonate windows illuminate the interior with natural light. The spacious interior, heavy-duty steel-reinforced construction and low-maintenance design gives you a durable garage or workshop, and is the perfect solution to your storage needs. Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Our window walls are interchangeable with any of the shed’s side walls, so you can place them wherever they best fit your layout and lighting needs! Consult all local building codes to verify if the shed requires a building permit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with the shed I finished two days ago. We're using it as storage and a workshop while we convert our garage into a playroom for our kids. There are several things we like about it, including the design, ample space, affordable price, and the fact that it's easy to maintain with just a pressure wash. However, there are a few downsides. Since it's made of plastic, some of the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as expected, despite my efforts to level the platform and deburr the edges. Specifically, some of the corner trim was slightly too long, which prevented the corner roof panels from fitting properly. Additionally, the holes in the top tiles didn't line up exactly with the main roof panels, even though the panels lined up with the trusses and walls. The window latches were also difficult to turn, and I had to trim the plastic inserts significantly to get them to work. I'll need to contact Lifetime to get a couple of replacement windows due to a manufacturing defect. Despite these minor issues, I'm satisfied with the shed overall. I did have some difficulty putting most of it together alone. The doors absolutely require two people, so it's definitely easier with help throughout. I'm glad I received good help with the doors. I didn't need to level or have any issues with the door assembly. I love the rolling double door and single door. It's great to open it up in nice weather and makes it convenient for ventilation when using a table saw and then blowing out the sawdust. The directions, YouTube video, and BILT app were helpful and straightforward. If you have DIY experience, it's not overwhelming, but it's still a big project that took me a full workweek to complete. There were a lot of screws and bolts, and it was much more time-consuming than the two other plastic sheds I've built before. I will be pulling an electric permit to run a subpanel for power and lights. I will also be building an internal wood frame. I am grateful for the product.. Benny. Portland, OR. Tue Apr 02 2024

After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. A sturdy and reliable foundation is key to getting the best long-term performance out of your shed, and Lifetime’s Metal Foundation Kit is the perfect alternative to pouring a cement pad. Love our new shed! The end product is fantastic and money well spent! We just wish the instructions were clearer and the parts were more organized in each box (the instruction manual was in box 3 of 5). The doors were the hardest part to assemble correctly. Otherwise great 1st experience with wayfair! . Samantha. Frankin, WI. Tue Jun 09 2020

I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. Also bought my own 16 foot and 10 foot long boards for the sill plates and headers, and used them instead of the shorter pieces that came with the kit. Michael. Wed Jul 03 2024

We regretted this purchase from put-together day #1! It ended up taking 75 hours to put it together. We had to make several make shift changes because of some pieces that were not provided. The directions have NO WORDS and the tiniest non-descriptive pictures in the world. This is not water proof, but we used spray foam insulation and caulking to seal it up. In any severe heat or hold, it is apparent the windows and top clear roof panels would crack and dry rot. Time will tell! In short, with a LOT of patience, work and help, this item is usable but don't expect anything easy or high quality about it!. Devan. KY. Sat Sep 12 2026
