The product is an ultra-low profile surface mounting luminaire with a modern look and high performance. Product (4 in. direct mount with spring clips) is designed for new installation into drywall, without any additional housing or junction box needed. I found these lights to fit an awkward previous gambel light hole. This worked fine and the lights are as communicated. However, these lights are clearly a return which was never inspected, wires from the previous attempted install were simply cut 3 above the lights wiring connection. Additionally one light did not arrive with a junction box cover which would not meet code for installation. Please be better Wayfair and take accountability for returns in less than new condition.. I used this in a bedroom so I kept in on the warm setting but I can see if you were to install this in a bathroom or kitchen you would want the bright / cooler setting. It was easy to install with the magnets. The light has more lumens and it came with 3000K color temperature selected. My only complaint is that there were no instructions on how to remove the wires if you wanted to change the connection. I used this in a bedroom so I kept in on the warm setting but I can see if you were to install this in a bathroom or kitchen you would want the bright / cooler setting.
