This is our first cantilever umbrella and we have decided we like it. The stand is behind us so we don’t have to worry about tripping on poles or looking around the pole. I do have concerns about the flimsy feet stand that supposedly going to hold this umbrella up and in place. It will definitely need attachment to the deck or ground….we will be placing a couple of sandbags on it to help it stand.. Ronald. Lawndale, NC. Wed Apr 22 2026

Our 4-Plate Design no tools needed, each plate snaps securely onto your umbrella's crossbar for a seamless, sturdy fit. The base holds up to 100 lbs of water, 135 lbs of dry sand, or 150 lbs of wet sand. Each plate features a watertight screw cap and port for easy filling and draining, reducing evaporation. Made from heavy-duty, recyclable HDPE, it resists extreme temperatures and UV rays.

I ordered a cantilever umbrella that had a metal X base which couldn't support the weight of the umbrella so I ordered this to hold it in place. It took about $15-20 worth of sand from the local hardware store to fill it up. For me the base is SO bulky though. Perhaps this isn't something that can be avoided due to the nature of the item and the weight it needs to compensate for but it takes up a lot of space so just make sure you plan for that. I put pots of flowers on it to try to blend it into the space. I don't know if it did anything though lol.. Abee. CT. Fri Jul 17 2026

Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. Annette. Rochester, NY. Thu Jul 02 2026

Received our umbrella yesterday and it took about 15 minutes to set up. The umbrella is nice and good value for the price. The only part that is a little flimsy is the extensions that go into the fabric. The instructions says clicks into place and mine don’t seem to click they just slid in and are being supported by the fabric. Maybe a design flaw but still usable.. Maria. Apollo Beach, FL.
